Coming from Sairat fame music producers Ajay-Atul, the music has a signature style of the duo. For those who’ve heard the Sairat songs, which of course are beyond spectacular, the music has an overpowering orchestra feel to it.
You get the same feel strongly when you hear ‘Mere Naam Tu’ from Zero. The lyrics have been given Irshad Kamil and the vocals have been rendered by Abhay Jodhapurkar.
The song Mere Naam Tu is set during the festival of Holi and can be defined as the quintessential Shah Rukh Khan love track. The song which features Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma is a romantic track between the two.
The grandness of the music is quite appealing a style quite reminiscent of Ajay-Atul and it reflects too in the song with the use of colors and scale.
Shah Rukh Khan had posted on Thursday, “Bauua ka pyaar hai, Aafia ussi ke naam hai. #MereNaamTu out tomorrow.”
Anushka Sharma had earlier tweeted, “Jitna ye poora hai uss se lamba toh Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder ka naam hai, phir bhi mujhe kehta hai tu mere naam hai. #MereNaamTu, coming out tomorrow!”

Kalinga Sena Threatens To Throw Ink At Shah Rukh Khan
A local outfit on Thursday threatened to throw ink at Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and show him the black flag when he visits Bhubaneswar next week during the 2018 Men’s Hockey World Cup.
Hemant Rath, the chief of the outfit which calls itself ‘Kalinga Sena’, has demanded an apology from Mr Khan for allegedly insulting Odisha and its people in his film Ashoka that was made 17 years ago.
The outfit had also filed a complaint with the police in Bhubaneswar on November 1 alleging that Mr Khan has hurt the sentiment of Odia people and dishonoured the state’s culture by portraying the Kalinga war in a wrong manner.
The Kalinga (historical name of Odisha) war was fought in 265 BC in which Emperor Ashoka defeated the Kalinga king and the kingdom was annexed to the Mauryan empire. The war is considered one of the bloodiest battles and had prompted Ashoka to embrace Buddhism.
“We have made preparation to throw ink on the actor’s face and show him black flag at any place from the airport to the stadium. Our activists will remain present all along the road where Mr Khan is likely to visit,” the press statement issued by Kalinga Sena general secretary Nihar Pani said.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has invited Mr Khan, who is slated to be present at the Kalinga Stadium on November 27 during the inauguration of the Men’s Hockey World Cup.
Ashoka, which was released in 2001, could not run in the theatres in Odisha for more than seven days due to protests.
Kalinga Sena had held a rally in Bhubaneswar on November 11 and burnt Mr Khan’s effigy as a mark of protest.
A senior police officer said adequate security arrrangements will be made for all the visiting VVIPs including Mr Khan.

Shahrukh is being called the de facto patron saint of lost causes
Shah Rukh Khan flew on Air India from New York to Mumbai and gush-tweeted, “Thank u to the ground staff and the wonderful pilots for a hospitable warm & beautiful journey… Maharaja, Maharaja hi hota hai”. And, he has now “unofficially and unabashedly” offered to declare himself its ambassador.
Air India, which is usually in the news for all the wrong reasons, like a drunk pilot, cabin crew who show up late and no chicken in their meals, is now falling over itself in gratitude. Minister of state for civil aviation Jayant Sinha retweeted Shah Rukh’s tweet while Air India gurgled, “We are truly humbled when ‘King Khan’ is the brand ambassador for ‘Maharaja’”.
