Vivek Oberoi as Narendra Modi in the PM biopic

The first poster of the upcoming biopic on the Prime Minister was released today with Vivek Oberoi on it as Narendra Modi.

The film is titled ‘PM Narendra Modi’ and will be directed by Omung Kumar who has in the past made biographical movies like Mary Kom and Sarbjit.

The poster has been released days after it was announced that Vivek Oberoi will be playing the role of Mr Modi.

The poster was unveiled in an event today by Maharashtra CM, Devendra Fadnavis who talked of Mr Modi’s achievements as a PM calling him a ‘world leader’ and a ‘rajyogi.’

The CM also added that the film is set to create history. Present at the launch was also Vivek Oberoi.

The actor said he hopes to becomes a better person by the end of the shoot and called himself a fan of PM Modi.

Vivek Oberoi’s father, Mr. Suresh Oberoi will be co-producing the film along with Sandeep Singh.

Vivek Oberoi official social media accounts carry the new posters of the upcoming biopic on PM Modi.

The poster features Vivek Oberoi with prosthetics, make up and grey hair and beard wearing a kurta.

The background has India’s flag against the backdrop of sunrise. The movie is going to be released in 23 languages across India.

The filming for the movie is said to start in the mid of January.

Interestingly, another movie on former India’s Prime Minister, Mr Manmohan Singh played by Anupam Kher is embroiled in controversies with people protesting of the film depicting a distorted view of the Gandhi family.
