Avengers star Chris Hemsworth arrives in India for shoot of Netflix film

Avengers star Chris Hemsworth arrived in India to begin filming for his upcoming Netflix film called Dhaka which is a thriller and aso stars Indian actors Manoj Bajpayee and Randeep Hooda.

The actor arrived in Ahmedabad and was gracious enough to satisfy fans with selfies as they swarmed him at the arrival in the airport. According to a report in Times of India the actor headed straight to work from there.

Dhaka, produced by his MCU directors Joe & Anthony Russo, is a thriller set in India and Bangladesh. The film will be directed by debutant Sam Hargrave, who has graduated from playing Chris Evans’ stunt double in the recent Marvel movies.

The film is an action thriller in which Hemsworth’s character will help rescue a kidnapped Indian boy from the Bangladeshi city of Dhaka. According to Deadline, the film will be shot in India and Thailand.

The Russos and Hemsworth recently finished the final round of filming on Avengers 4, the highly anticipated conclusion to this phase in the MCU, due for release in May, 2019.

For the uninitiated Hemsworth had travelled earlier to India in 2015 and visited Delhi, Agra, Leh, Goa and Dharamshala.

Naomi Watts stepped out after being confirmed as the lead role in Game Of Thrones prequel The Long Night. The actress was spotted running errands in new York just hours after the news was revealed.

Naomi, 50, was seen in a cosy coat and warm hat as she stepped out near her home after author George R. R. Martin shared his joy at her casting. She teamed a navy wool pea jacket with matching leggings and a purple and lilac knitted jumper.

The prequel is expected to follow the Age Of Heroes’ disintegration into a dire era for Westeros, the fictional land in which George’s characters reside.

The writer announcing the casting of Naomi Watts tweeted saying, “Casting is now underway for THE LONG NIGHT, the first of the GAME OF THRONES successor series to ordered to film. HBO has just announced the first cast member: NAOMI WATTS is coming on board as one of our stars.”
